That the lives of individuals with mental illness and substance use disorders will improve, that consumers and family members will have an equal voice in the decisions that affect them and their loved ones, and those most affected by mental illness and substance abuse can lead full, meaningful lives within their communities.

The Local Collaborative:

Is a committee that is working to help improve all behavioral health services locally and across the state of New Mexico.  There are 15 Local Collaboratives that cover the entire state.  Each Local Collaborative especially welcomes adult consumers, youth consumers, and family members to share their ideas and concerns.
